Wife of American television host, Larry King, has broken her silence over his filing for divorce after 22 years of marriage.
Shawn Southwick King was moved to tears in an interview with DailyMail TV, where she revealed that she never saw the divorce coming.
I was crushed, I had no idea that this was coming. It hurt, yeah. I was totally blindsided. I’m sad. I never expected to be at this place in my life, in our lives and have this happen in such a public way. I don’t think, again I’m not in Larry’s head. She further stated that her husband had a very strong personality and did what he wanted, emphasizing that the whole thing had left her feeling upset and sad.
Larry King had filed for divorce last month over an alleged affair his wife was having. Reports had indicated that the issue had left him greatly troubled, leaving him with no other option but to opt for a separation from her.
