Following the Friday helicopter crash in Opebi, Lagos, Nigerians are praising the pilot on board, Captain Chika Ernest for his brave and selfless decision in the blink of that moment.
TalkGlitz gathered from an investigation report that Captain Chika had emptied the fuel tank and crashed into the walls of the building to avoid more impact and explosion. This decision happened within a few seconds as a case of tail rotor failure was recorded.

I want to celebrate this Captain Chika!
He averted what would have been a bigger tragedy, emptying his fuel tank, and crashing into a wall.
How many think of humanity even in their last minutes?

This is late Captain Chika Ernest; the pilot of the helicopter that crashed in Opebi Lagos, yesterday. Reports say the doctors refused to treat him until they get a police report and he died before a report could come.#CoalCityConnect pic.twitter.com/1MT4ljH4Pu
