A woman’s joy was dampened almost immediately after her boyfriend made a marriage proposal to her.
The couple was visiting New York when the man decided to make a marriage proposal to his girlfriend.
She said “Yes,” and the elated man quickly sealed it with a ring.
However, as they moved on during the sight-seeing, the ring slipped off the fiancee’s finger and dropped into a barricaded drain.
The distraught couple did all they could to retrieve it, but they were unlucky.
After they had moved on, the Police successfully recovered the ring, and, through a tweet that soon went viral, finally located the couple who were very grateful to have the ring back.
