Khloé Kardashian expressed her admiration for Kris Jenner’s appearance in Meghan Trainor’s music video for “Mother,” and even asked the singer to join the family.
Jenner posted a clip of herself in the video on Friday, which featured the matriarch lip-syncing lyrics while wearing a blonde wig and a white gown and draped in diamonds.
Kardashian, 38, was quick to show her support in the comments section, exclaiming, “Stop it I’m fing screaming! I am fing screaming! Oh my God thank God. This is really my mother! How lucky am I?? Meghan Let’s be sisters!” Other members of the Kardashian family also reacted to Jenner’s appearance, with Kourtney Kardashian writing, “THAT IS MY MOTHER,” and Kim Kardashian sharing the video on her own Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Isn’t my mom the cutest?”
The singer, who is expecting her second child with husband Daryl Sabara, explained that the song, in which she croons lyrics like, “You with your God complex, but you can’t even make life, bitch,” was crafted as a response to the sexism that still exists in the entertainment industry.
Trainor’s “Mother” music video features not only Kris Jenner, but also a star-studded cast, including comedian Amy Schumer, actress Jameela Jamil, and singer Tinashe, who all make cameos as mothers themselves. The song and video have been praised for their feminist message and for addressing the issue of sexism in the entertainment industry.
