At the funeral of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State, singer Kcee pledged that he and his brother, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-Money, will assume responsibility for Pope’s children until they are self-sufficient.
“On behalf of my brother, E-Money, and our friends, I want to say sorry to the family. Junior Pope is a blessing to this generation,” Kcee said. He revealed that E-Money, the godfather of Pope’s first son, committed to taking care of Pope’s three sons.
“We are ready to take care of the three kids to any level they want till they are grown to cater for themselves. We will take care of their education, feeding, clothing, and holidays. We are not doing it to show off but to honor our friend’s dying wish for a better life for his children,” Kcee added.

Junior Pope tragically passed away on April 10, 2024, alongside three others, when their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.
