Having two iconic actors, Golden Globe winner, Idris Elba and Academy Award winner, Kate Winslet on The Graham Norton Show shed more lights to the romantic scenes and paparazzi that went down in the movie, ‘The Mountain Between Us’.
Trapped in the frosty hill, Winslet’s Alex, desperate to make it home from Idaho to New York in time for her wedding, hatches the idea of commissioning a small plane to ferry her to Denver to catch a red-eye. She invites Ben (Elba) — a surgeon who has his own important date with performing a potentially life-saving operation — to join her.

Oscar winner, Kate boasted that she quickly realised she’d have to take total control of the love scene once she arrived on set on that fateful day.
“I had to get quite bossy,” she joked. “I’ve done quite a lot of these scenes before and poor Hany was really quite nervous and had an extensive shot list.
“I thought, ‘We are never going to get this done.’ Idris was a bit nervous too and everything was moving a bit slowly so I just said, ‘Okay boys, this is what we are going to do…’ and we just got on with it.”
From there, Kate was surprised with a rather unusual request from her co-star Idris — and that’s where things really got weird.
