ICYMI: The Desola Twitter Buzz And Nigerians' Clamor For 'Nud€s'

So Twitter Nigeria was on top gear yesterday, a Sabbath Day when even the evilest calms it down. But the case wasn’t just it as a certain user, @DesolaThief sparked it up on Twitter under an unconfirmed identity threatening to release private photos some lady had sent to her husband on Twitter.

Well, the case that blew up on Twitter was between the faceless Desola (@DesolaThief) and another real Desola (@desolaa__).

The Twitter user came attacking @desolaa__ for getting involved with his husband on Twitter, she also threatened to release her nu~de photos by 4pm, yesterday. She went further to open an Instagram account, also Facebook. Lo and Behold, 4 pm came, her newly created account has amounted to over 2,500 followers following the clamoured interest of Nigerian social media users in seeing the much talked about nu~des.

Everything started off like a mere Twitter rant, of course, who would have taken a Twitter handle as @DesolaThief serious.

But @DesolaThief has some secret information to divulge, she could have gotten them directly or directly. Feeling insecure about the threats, @desolaa__ quickly turned her account to private.

Another Twitter account with a female identity also co-signed by calling @desolaa_ out for sending nu~des to her husband.

4pm came, Nigerians were all at alert for @DesolaThief to drop the bomb but it took another wind. @DesolaThief account got suspended on Twitter and Instagram. The discussion went on and on. @Desolaa__ has gone mute, @DesolaThief has been wiped out and the thing goes skraaah!

Summary of the thread, if you’re finding it difficult to trend on the Nigerian social space, try something around nude… *just saying*
