Nigerian Music Singer has admitted that he thinks of the moments he spent with his ex-girlfriend, Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson.
Iyanya and Nelson started dating in 2012 faced relationship challenges and eventually parted ways in 2015.
The topic resurfaced when Yvonne Nelson unveiled her memoir titled ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson,’ which delved into the difficulties of her life.
Within the memoir, Nelson made allegations of infidelity against the singer, claiming that he had cheated on her with fellow actress Tonto Dikeh, ultimately leading to their breakup.
In response to the explosive claims, Iyanya took to his Twitter platform, expressing astonishment at the cheating allegations and assuring his followers that he would address the matter in due course.
However, during a recent interview with Cool FM, Iyanya was confronted with the question of whether he still harbored feelings for Yvonne Nelson.
The music artist openly admitted that he occasionally reminisces about their past and acknowledged that they maintain a cordial relationship as friends.
In his words: “Of course. I mean, once in a while, you just reminisce and miss good people. It is what it is. We are cool,”
Iyanya’s rise to prominence commenced when he emerged victorious in the inaugural season of Project Fame West Africa. Following his triumph, he released his debut album in 2011, solidifying his position as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated musical talents.
