Technocrats for Progress: Governor Adeleke’s Expert Team to Drive Development in Osun State

Abuja-based human rights lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has praised the remarkable caliber of commissioners and special advisers chosen by Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State. In a statement released on Friday, Olajengbesi, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a grassroots politician in Osun State, expressed confidence in the appointed team of technocrats, asserting that their expertise would drive continuous progress and exponential development for the people of Osun State.

Olajengbesi, who is also the Managing Partner at Law Corridor, an esteemed law firm based in Abuja, encouraged the newly appointed officials to collaborate harmoniously with Senator Adeleke to foster the progressive growth and advancement of the state.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the appointees of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke. The exceptional quality of individuals on this list is commendable. These are individuals of high repute who are willing and ready to utilize their expertise in serving our state. There couldn’t be a more fitting team to work alongside Mr. Governor for the betterment of our beloved state,” he remarked.

It is worth recalling that Senator Adeleke recently forwarded a comprehensive list of 25 nominees for commissioners and 25 nominees for special advisers to the Osun State House of Assembly. In turn, the Assembly announced the list of nominees for Commissioners and Special Advisers as presented by the Executive Governor.

On Friday, July 7th, 2023, the Speaker of the Osun Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, read the governor’s letter containing the nominees to the members of the House of Assembly during a plenary session.

Among the appointed commissioners are Barr. Oladosu Babatunde, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe, Mr. Sesan Epharaim Oyedele, Barr. Kolapo Alimi, Mr. Soji Ajeigbe, Mr. Moshood Olalekan Olagunju, Hon. George Alabi, Hon. Sunday Olufemi Oroniyi, Mr. Abiodun Bankole Ojo, Dr. Basiru Tokunbo Salami, Mr. Morufu Ayofe, and Mr. Sola Ogungbile.

The remaining individuals named as commissioners are Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, Mrs. Ayo Awolowo, Barr. Wole Jimi Bada, Hon. Dipo Eluwole, Alh. Rasheed Aderibigbe, Prof. Morufu Ademola Adeleke, Mr. Adeyemo Festus Ademola, Mr. Olabiyi Anthony Odunlade, Barr. Jola Akintola, Hon. Mayowa Adejorin, Mrs. Adenike Folashade Adeleke, Mr. Tola Faseru, and Alh. Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa.

The appointment of these commissioners and special advisers marks a significant step towards strengthening the governance and administration of Osun State.
