Former Nigerian Minister and Elder Statesman Alhaji Musa Gwadabe Dies at 86
 Former Nigeria Minister Alhaji Musa Gwadabe passed on at the age of 86 years.

 

Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, a former minister of Employment, Labour, and Productivity and a well-respected elder statesman, has passed away at the age of 86. He died on Tuesday night in Kano following an extended illness. The news of his death was confirmed by a relative, Nasiru Gwadabe, who informed newsmen that the funeral prayer of the late minister would be held at his residence off Maiduguri road, in Kano, at 2.00 pm on Wednesday.

Alhaji Musa Gwadabe had a distinguished career in public service, serving in various capacities. He was appointed Minister of Solid Minerals Development during Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure in 1999 before being reassigned to the Ministry of Employment, Labour, and Productivity. Additionally, he served as the Secretary to Kano State Government during the tenure of the Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and was a member of several boards.

Until his passing, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Board Chairman of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF). He will be remembered as an accomplished statesman who dedicated his life to public service.

Alhaji Musa Gwadabe was survived by 12 children, great-grandchildren, and other relatives. His death is a great loss to his family, the people of Kano, and Nigeria as a whole.
