Early on Wednesday morning, a fire broke out at the Nigerian Air Force Base located on Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory. The cause of the fire is still unknown at the time of filing this report. However, the Federal Fire Service immediately took action and deployed personnel to the scene to put out the fire.
According to Amiola Adebayo, the Head of Operations of the FFF FCT, the fire damaged a section of the NAF Base. Despite this, the firemen were working diligently to extinguish the flames. Adebayo stated that they were putting great effort into completely putting out the fire.
Although the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, Adebayo confirmed that a statement will be released as soon as their findings are concluded. The fire outbreak at the Nigerian Air Force Base caused concern among the public, but prompt action by the Federal Fire Service helped to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the base. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire outbreak.
