CEO of Gemstone Group and 2019 Presidential hopeful, Mr. Fela Durotoye on Tuesday flayed the policy of Lagos State Government under Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for sending young persons to jail for striving to survive by hawking goods on roadsides and in traffic.
Durotoye, who was a speaker at The Platform in Lagos on 1st of May, similarly suggested that President Mohammadu Buhari’s ambition to run for 2nd term in office as President of Federal Republic of Nigeria is inconsiderate.
Among other points, the motivational speaker said middle-class people are the ones who have always raised poor citizens for consistent period of four years before politicians show up, one-off, to buy votes and return electorates to their servitude.
He also criticised that the age of retirement from the Civil Service is about 60 years, but President Buhari still wants to run even after almost 80 years of age.
