Ex-beauty queen, Powede Awujo and husband Ikenna Awujo have welcomed their second child. The couple, who had their first son in January 2018, four months after their wedding, welcomed another son on Sunday August 4, 2019.

Powede Awujo was born on the 22nd of November, 1991. Her parents hail from different ethnic groups. Her dad is Ijaw while her mum is Yoruba. She is the last born and only girl. Powede Eniola Awujo has a nursing degree from the Niger Delta State University, Bayelsa. The model is also an Aviation pilot with an excellent PR relation with the flight clients. She got certified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).
Asides being a pilot and nurse, Awujo is also the CEO of Tods and kids, a retail children’s quality clothing store that renders the service of making baby shopping fun for grown-ups.
In 2013, Powede contested for the Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria beauty pageant and emerged as the 2nd runner up earning her the title of MBGN Miss Tourism. She went on to represent Nigeria in the 2013 Miss Tourism competition.
Powede also has a foundation called Powede Lawrence Foundation which aim is to advocate for people living with disabilities and the less privileged in the society.
In September 2017, Powede got married to her heartthrob Ikechukwu in a grand wedding.
Five months after they welcomed their first son, Tobechi to the world.
She posted on Instagram when Tobechi turned one,
“Exactly a year ago, I had packed my bags proceeding to the maternity ward, I was going to be a mother for the first time, the love that filled my heart was unlike anything I had ever felt, I hadn’t met you yet I was in love, even through those minutes of pain, that love kept me strong, and when you came, you greeted every one with a smile, and you’ve never stopped smiling since then. You bring so much joy to everyone around you, you are God’s gift to me, with you He gave me beauty for ashes. You my son are the apple of God’s eye, a chosen generation, a city set upon a hill that cannot be hidden, all your life you shall flourish like the palm tree, God’s grace will not depart from you, He will give you strength all the days of your life, you will not wither and everything you do shall prosper. In Jesus’ name. Amen! Happy birthday my son, you have made daddy and I parents to the happiest baby on the planet, with you I am certainly blessed beyond measure
