Jenifer’s Diary star, Funke Akindele-Bello, will be making her directorial debut with Mo Abudu’s upcoming movie YOUR EXCELLENCY.
The movie, which is a political satire, is being produced by EbonyLife Films in partnership with the famous actress. It is set to be released in December 2019.
Funke Akindele-Bello, speaking on the set, said;
“YOUR EXCELLENCY has a great script, excellent cast, and an experienced production team, so I’m looking forward to making the best possible film. It’s great to be working with Aunty Mo again, so soon after the success of CHIEF DADDY, and hopefully, we can make another hit movie”.

Funke Akindele-Bello was a part of the cast that featured in CHIEF DADDY, an EbonyLife Films production in 2018.
She starred in the sitcom I NEED TO KNOW from 1999 to 2002 and gained international recognition appearing in the hit television series JENIFA’S DIARY.
