Award-Winning Nigerian Music Executive, Micheal Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has appreciated Wizkid and other fans as Mavin Record’s “Overdose” hits the no.1 spot on the Apple Music Nigeria chart.
Sharing a screenshot from the chart on his Twitter page on Wednesday, the Mavin boss noted that being in the no. 1 spot was not an easy feat.
Don Jazzy credited superstar, Wizkid for using his massive influence to move the song to the top spot.
Wizkid had earlier asked the music mogul, Don Jazzy, to play his new jam, ‘Overdose’ on his wedding day.
The talented singer made the request after falling in love with the song which featured all of Marvin’s record’s top talents and vocalists, including Label head Don Jazzy, afrobeat star Rema, Ayra Starr, Magixx, Boy Spyce, and “So fine” crooner Charles Chibueze Chukwu aka Crayon.
Intoxicated by the song, Wizkid said to Don Jazzy, “my jam…if I marry play this song”.
Hours after his post, the song took the top spot and Don Jazzy who couldn’t hide his excitement appreciated him for the massive influence.
