New details surrounding the late King of Pop Michael Jackson have revealed that he was afraid someone was trying to kill him.
Michael Jackson was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer who was regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th Century and one of the greatest entertainers in the history of music.
On June 25, 2009, Jackson died from a cardiac arrest. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, had given him various medications to help him sleep. It was later revealed that his death was caused by propofol overdose.
Now, extracts from the late star’s diary have shown that he prior to his death, he lived in fear of being killed by someone he believed was after his life.
The Guardian reports that he scribbled the following words:
I’m afraid someone is trying to kill me. Evil people everywhere. They want to destroy me and take my publishing company. The system wants to kill me for my catalogue… I’m not selling it.”
Wacko Jacko (as he was fondly called) had reportedly gone paranoid months before his death and made the disturbing claims in his diary.
He had also been suspicious of his manager at the time, Tohme R. Tohme, stating that he didn’t want him “on a plane or in my house.”
