Production on the upcoming Netflix series Cowboy Bebop has been halted following actor John Cho being injured on set.
The series will not resume filming for at least a few months as Cho will need the time to recover from extensive damage to his knee, which will require surgery.
Cowboy Bebop is an adaptation of a Japanese animation series that focuses on a ragtag crew of bounty hunters who chase down the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy. It stars John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda.
John Cho was born Cho Yo Han. He is a Korean-American actor whose starring role in the 2018 thriller film Searching made him the first Asian-American actor in history to headline a mainstream thriller movie in Hollywood.
