Iran’s Health Ministry cancels the Friday prayers and other congregations due to fears of the deadly coronavirus.
According to reports, the Health Ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour stated that all forms of congregations must be canceled until further notice.
He added that 15 medical labs will be opened within next week to diagnose novel coronavirus infections.
The novel coronavirus known as COVID-19 has sounded global alarms, with China, the epicenter of the outbreak, reporting over 2,700 deaths.
The World Health Organization has declared the outbreak an international health emergency.
