Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, recently shared some fashion advice with his fans.
Speaking at Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer Show in Paris, Burna Boy urged fans to stay true to their personal style and not be swayed by trends that don’t genuinely appeal to them, even if promoted by their favorite celebrities.
“My styling tips? Be you, don’t be too influenced by things that don’t really appeal to you,” he said.
He also shared some of his personal favorites: “My favorite meal is fried yam and stew. I just recorded my favorite song last night. My favorite movie right now is ‘Lupin’.”
According to TalkGlitz, Burna Boy, along with Nigerian artists Wizkid, Rema, Adekunle Gold, Tems, and Mr. Eazi, attended the star-studded Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer Show during Paris Fashion Week Day 1.
The event featured Adekunle Gold’s hit song “Falling Up,” a collaboration with Pharrell Williams, which concluded Day 1 of Paris Fashion Week.
