Alleged internet fraudster Hushpuppi has reportedly contracted the novel coronavirus.
Hushpuppi is presently in the United States where he is facing charges for alleged cybercrime in a scam involving 1.9 million people.
News of his contracting the deadly disease was shared by popular journalist Kemi Olunloyo, who says she got the information from within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
She tweeted:
A source @FBILosAngeles told me Ramoni Olorunwa Abass reportedly tested #Covid19 +ve asymptomatic. Remember that it CAN’T be announced on US soil due to the HIPAA law. He is locked up at MCC Chicago, a #COVID19 ravaged federal prison”.
