During the commissioning of the Raumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover bridge in Port Harcourt, the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressed his gratitude towards the Rivers state governor, Nyesome Wike, for his support during the presidential election. Tinubu praised Wike’s principled stance and integrity, which he noted promoted unity and fairness during the election.

Tinubu acknowledged that he could not have emerged victorious in the election without the support of many individuals, including Wike, and expressed his gratitude for the contribution towards his success.

He stated that he fought a difficult campaign, which was supported by many people. However, he pointed out that without some structural support that was not describable by a flyover, he would not have succeeded in his quest.

Tinubu lauded Wike’s principled stance during the election, which was focused on ensuring that the presidency went to the south. According to Tinubu, Wike had the courage to stand by his convictions, irrespective of whose ox was gored. Tinubu described Wike as a man of great integrity, who prioritized the interest of the nation above his own.

Tinubu’s words at the commissioning of the Raumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover bridge in Port Harcourt were filled with gratitude towards the Rivers state governor, Nyesome Wike, and recognition of his pivotal role in his presidential victory.
