The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has bombed a location within the Sambisa Forest environs in Borno, a place of convergence by Boko Haram terrorists.
The announcement was made known by NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ibukunle Daramola, in a statement on Monday, October 13 in Abuja.
Daramola disclosed that the operation was carried out on Sunday and that its execution was preceded by days of Intelligence gathering, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.
Accordingly, the ATF detailed its fighter aircraft to attack the hideout, scoring accurate hits within the designated area, leading to the decimation of the target structure. Several BHT (Boko Haram Terrorists) were also killed as a result of the strike.Ibukunle Daramola
