Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, a self-proclaimed relationship and mental health expert, has been released after meeting her bail conditions.
The controversial social media personality announced her return on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the support she received during her time in custody.
In her posts, Blessing CEO acknowledged the love and encouragement from her fans while admitting that she missed them. She also expressed her appreciation for the overwhelming support she received during her time in prison.
Blessing CEO promised her fans a longer message expressing her gratitude, with her first post caption reading, “Child of grace… Thank you, lovers… Words fail me; my hands still shaking. Long speech coming.” The second post was accompanied by the message, “I missed you all… Just use this video to hold on, because I know you missed me too.”
The Instagram celebrity was arrested on Thursday, March 31, 2023, and was remanded by the Federal High Court in Lagos the following day. The police arraigned Blessing Okoro on allegations of cyber-bullying, libel, and exhibiting uncensored movies.
Justice Yelim Bogoro ordered the blogger and self-proclaimed relationship and mental health expert to be held in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) until May 30, when her bail application hearing would take place. With her bail conditions now met, Blessing CEO can resume her online presence and continue to connect with her fans.
