Liquorose, one of the housemates in the Big Brother Naija (Shine Ya Eye) Season 6 randomly remembers Sound Sultan saying she hopes he’s feeling better now as she heard he was diagnosed of cancer. It appears the housemate doesn’t know the singer already passed.
Liquorose, out of the blues, was singing a song titled “Very Good Bad Guy” by Sound Sultan featuring Banky W and for a moment, she recalled Sound Sultan was diagnosed with throat cancer. “I just hope he’s fine, heard he had cancer one time like that”, Liquorose said.
It’d be recalled the BBNaija housemates were lockdown for a couple of weeks before the show started, apparently, none of them could have been aware of the singer’s demise.
Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021 of Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.
