WhiteMoney narrates one of his most emotional moments in life to his fellow housemates in the Big Brother Naija (Shine Ya Eye) Season 6 house.
WhiteMoney, during their usual night game in the house, revealed that he used to live in an uncompleted building.
“I used to be live in an uncompleted building and Ojuelegba Under Bridge. I shuttled both places around 2013/2014.”, WhiteMoney recounted.
“I didn’t have a house, I didn’t have a job. All I had was my handwork – barbing
“Ojuelegba was literally my home, you don’t know where I’m coming out of in the morning but at night, I going back to the bridge or uncompleted building.”
“I usually took my bath and ladies could see me from tall buildings around.”
“There was no toilet, I pooed in the nylon.”
“I didn’t know where my life was going.”
Speaking on what led him to live on the street, he said;
“I came to Lagos as a big boy, I came with money”
“But then, the crisis in the North happened. Just within the short period of one week, so there was nothing for me to go back to. I was now forced to stay back in Lagos.”
“The family that took me him, they tried but they had other people coming in so I had to find my way. That period was fvcked up for me”
Speaking on his breakthrough.
At the end of the day, 2015, I got my first sponsor deal, N1.5m from the bridge, to a house, with a brand new SUV and everything. I dropped my songs then, and it was okay, I guess.
