Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa took to Instagram on January 4th this year to give a detailed account on how one of John Boyega’s bodyguards at Crossroads, a restaurant in Lagos and the actor just got something to say about this.
According to Toke, even if she had a flight to catch she wanted to talk to John and explained to the actor what went down between her and his bodyguard because she feels if she was a guy she wouldn’t be treated that way.
Toke Makinwa went on to write about how she was not only embarrassed, but also prevented from being served in the restaurant until John Boyega came in and the bodyguard gave the management the go-ahead.
However when interviewed on CoolFM this morning, the incident was brought to John Boyega’s notice and after some bouts of laughter, he asked who Toke Makinwa is.
Here’s the video below;
John Boyega who is in Nigeria, made a stunning disclosure while on a show on CNBC Africa.
According to the talented actor, he is planning to shoot a low budget Nigerian movie with about $20-$25million (N9billion).
Boyega spoke to Power Lunch West Africa host, Onyi Sunday during the promotion of his new movie “Pacific Rim.”
“We’re developing a few Nigerian stories and choosing one which makes sense budget-wise. We’re probably looking at an indie budget of $20-$25 million dollars.”
With the highest Nigerian movie having a budget less than $500,000, the “Star Wars” actor might be starting a revolution that will create a marriage between the Nigerian movie industry and the American movie industry.
