Ashley Graham Is Pregnant!

The 31-year-old model and her husband Justin Ervin are expecting their first child. The pair announced the happy news by sharing a video of Graham cradling her baby bump via Instagram on Wednesday.

“Surprise!” the two said.

It was certainly a celebratory day for the couple as it also marked their ninth wedding anniversary.

“Nine years ago today, I married the love of my life,” she captioned the cute clip. “It has been the best journey with my favorite person in the world! Today, we are feeling so blessed, grateful and excited to celebrate with our GROWING FAMILY! Happy anniversary, @mrjustinervin. Life is about to get even better.”

In addition, Ervin shared a picture of the sonogram via the social network.

“To my forever love and my daily inspiration,” he wrote on Instagram. “Happy anniversary @ashleygraham These 9 years have played out like a lifetime. I guess it’s because my life really started once you came into it. Now that we’ve made a life together, let’s make a life together. I love you and I love us. All of us…”

The pair tied the knot in 2010 and had discussed the possibility of starting a family before.

“We are going to totally have kids,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. “We are probably going to do it in the next few years,” Graham also reveals. “Just another part of my brand building.”

Ashley Graham is a plus size model that has worked with several designers. In 2016, Graham served as a backstage host for Miss USA 2016Miss Universe 2016Miss USA 2017Miss Universe 2017 and Miss Universe 2018. In addition, she was an official judge of the reality show America’s Next Top Model transmitted by VH1.

She has showed off her body with cellulite and stretch marks and encouraged other women to love their bodies. In an interview with Vogue, she said, “I definitely think that my body has changed many peoples’ lives. I’ve used my body as a tool to talk about taboo subjects, such as cellulite or being insecure about lower belly fat—and also [how to] talk life into your body and have an affirmation kind of conversation with yourself. And I know the lives that have been changed: young girls and even women my age who have written me and said, ‘I never loved the skin that I was in until I heard your journey’.”

Graham has stated she does not prefer the term “plus-size”, saying, “I think that when you use the word ‘plus-size’ you’re putting all these women into a category: ‘You don’t eat well.’ ‘You don’t work out.’ ‘You could care less about your body.’ ‘You’re insecure.’ ‘You have no confidence.’ And that is none of this (pointing at her body)”… The fashion industry may persist to label me as ‘plus-size,’ but I like to think of it as ‘my size.”
