Nigerian musical artist Asake has recently shed light on the obstacles faced by tattooed individuals in securing employment within Nigeria.
In a feature for the latest edition of GQ magazine, Asake shared his personal experiences, highlighting the stigma attached to his neck tattoo that barred him from gaining employment or engaging in business activities.
The musician stated, “In Nigeria, if you have a tattoo on your neck, you can’t work anywhere. I can’t work for any company. I can’t sell anything.”
