Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have called off their engagement because it was ‘too soon’ after she lost her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.
The ‘No Tears Left To Cry ’ singer alledgely revealed their love affair was “way too much too soon, that the split is apparently not shocking to anyone,” according to a source who spoke to People.
However, Ariana and Pete started dating earlier this year after they both ended their relationships respectively but they met in 2016 when the singer was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Their relationship became a public affair at the end of May 2018, when the Saturday Night Live star was spotted backstage at the Billboard Music Awards. The singer at the start of June, confirmed that she got engaged to Davidson by replying to her fans on Twitter who’d been congratulating her about the relationship rumors.
A source said at that time;
“It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.”
It was further gathered that Ariana Grande faced a lot of heartache when her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller passed away at the start of September 2018. Understandably, the singer has been taking some time out from her schedule since Miller’s death.
