Tony Okocha accuses Governor Fubara of political interference and warns of divine consequences.
Tony Okocha, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has issued a stern warning to Governor Sim Fubara, accusing him of poor leadership and political meddling. Okocha alleged that Fubara’s actions, including interference in APC affairs and lack of clear political alignment, could invite God’s wrath.
In a strongly worded statement, Okocha claimed Fubara was using his influence to sponsor court cases against the APC while remaining unaffiliated with any political party.
“I pray for Fubara that he changes his style; otherwise, the wrath of God might descend,” Okocha warned.
Criticizing the governor’s political stance, Okocha said, “All this bragado he is navigating around APC, he would have used it to register himself. I thought he would have used all his powers as governor, all this influence to put himself back into the PDP. He is not a member of any political party.”
Okocha went on to assert that Fubara’s political isolation could leave him vulnerable in future elections. “If there is any election in the state, he has no party because the party that would have sponsored him, that is the PDP, will never present him because he is not their member,” he stated.
The APC chairman further accused Fubara of attempting to manipulate the judiciary to divide and destabilize the political landscape in Rivers State. “Now he is in the business of trying to divide and rule and make a mess of the entire judiciary,” Okocha concluded.
