Johnny Depp’s former wife Amber Heard continued to keep the assault allegations coming on the third day of the former’s libel case in London.
Depp and Heard’s bitter divorce drama continued today, Wednesday, July 22, 2020, as she claimed that he hurled “30 bottles or so” at her “as if they were grenades or bombs.”
Mounting the witness stand, the Aquaman actress denied his Depp’s allegation that it was she who lost her temper and injured him.
Heard described her stay in Australia with Depp as akin to a “three-day hostage situation”, adding that she got angry at times “but not into a rage that would cause me to throw anything at him.”
She did concede that she broke a bottle in their second evening together in Australia as they got into an argument about the actor’s drinking. She said she regretted breaking the bottle.
Following that, Heard claimed that Depp, in a drunken stupor fueled by drugs, started throwing bottles that broke a window behind her.
“He threw all the bottles that were in reach, all except for one which was a celebratory magnum-sized bottle of wine,”, she said.
She said that Depp’s finger was severed during this encounter but that she didn’t see it come off. She also denied putting out a cigarette on his cheek, saying: “I will be shocked if Johnny remembers any of this.”
