Nigerian Actress and Media personality, Zainab Balogun-Nwachukwu, has taken to her Instagram page to share a powerful testimony of how an ovarian cyst miraculously disappeared from her body days before she was supposed to have surgery to remove an ovary.
In the video shared, Zainab said in 2020 she discovered that she had two Ovarian cysts and had to undergo surgery.
She said she was later diagnosed with stage three endometriosis. In 2022, the cyst came back ”stronger” on her left Ovary.
Zainab who got married to an airline boss, Dikko Nwachukwu in 2018, said she was advised to undergo surgery to remove the left ovary and the left cyst so as to protect the right one in order to freeze her eggs.
In her words, she said:
“I’ve been sitting on the first layer of this testimony since July but then God wanted to add Jara ✨
I’ve been on an interesting health journey. I had surgery and was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis 2 years ago. I prepared for another surgery in July 2022 to remove an ovary. Faith intensified as I joined NSPPD morning prayers with @realjerryeze.
@only_ronx gave me a word earlier in the year… “You’re not the face of Endometriosis, you can advocate for it but you’re NOT the face”
I prayed, begged, cried and switched to thanksgiving for healing I could not see. God sent people my way. @mindculturehub helped to change my mind and lifestyle through herbal/holistic living. He had me drinking herbs I couldn’t spell ????
@greenessence_hl randomly reached out in faith and join me on the journey. She prayed with me and sent everything in her herbal nutritional arsenal to my house every week for 3 months ????????
