Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Natacha Akide, widely recognized as Tacha, has recently shared her perspective on the Big Brother Naija All Stars edition, emphasizing that it was designed for participants who had not made the most of their initial opportunities on the show.
The BBNaija All-Stars edition showcased former housemates from previous seasons, ultimately awarding the coveted title to ‘Level Up’ housemate, Ilebaye Odiniya.
In an exclusive interview featured in the latest edition of The Will Downtown Magazine, Tacha expressed her belief that she did not belong to the group of individuals who had failed to capitalize on their first chance in the reality show. She highlighted her pre-existing status as a prominent social media influencer before entering the Big Brother house, asserting that the show had indeed elevated her fame further. Tacha acknowledged the challenges she faced during her time on the show but credited her ability to seize every opportunity that came her way. She also cited the popular adage, “If God is for you, who can be against you?”
Tacha explained, “I had already established myself as a significant social media influencer prior to my entry into the Big Brother house. The Big Brother platform undoubtedly contributed to my already burgeoning popularity, allowing me to maximize every opportunity presented to me. Although the same show brought me to my limits, I persevered.”
She continued, “I receive consistent offers and commitments from various brands, along with specific deliverables. To leave all of this behind for a show where the compensation is meager wouldn’t be a wise decision. I derive immense satisfaction from my work at Cool FM every Friday, and I owe it to my loyal fans not to abandon them. In my view, the All Stars edition is more suited for individuals who may not have fully utilized their initial chances. To be fair, I do not belong to that category.”
