Renowned on-air personality (OAP), Nedu Wazobia, has recently shared his heartfelt account of the challenges he faced following his divorce from Uzoamaka Ohiri, his ex-wife.
The couple tied the knot in 2013 but sadly parted ways in 2018 amid a paternity scandal that rocked their marriage.
In an exclusive interview with MTV Base Africa, Nedu Wazobia revealed the emotional turmoil he endured during the difficult period of his divorce in 2017 and 2018.
Despite battling hellish circumstances and anxiety attacks, he bravely continued his work, posting comedy skits that kept his fans entertained
Reflecting on that trying time, Nedu expressed the hidden pain he experienced, unnoticed by the public eye. “Getting off my first marriage was the most difficult period in my life. The funny thing is, it was 2017/2018, I was going through hell, but nobody knew,” he confessed.
“You know how it is when you are taking a walk, and your heart is skipping for no reason. I was under anxiety attacks. But guess what? I was doing comedy skits and posting daily. But I was going through hell.
“Yes, I have healed fully from that situation, 150 percent. The person that healed me does not even know she was the one that healed me.
“I healed even before I left the marriage because if you are not healed, you can not move on. So, I got to a point where I was healed a bit, and then I moved on and then totally got healed much later.”
