Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and one of the wealthiest people in the world, reportedly had an affair with his close friend, Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan.
According to the report, the affair with the Google founder’s wife led to their divorce.
Elon’s romance with Nicole led to Sergey filing for divorce in January.
The WSJ article states that their long friendship ended last fall because they had a brief affair together. The article also says that the affair happened when Elon welcomed a baby girl via surrogate with his existing girlfriend Grimes. Shortly after, he welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis, a former Tesla exec.
Mr. Musk has faced many personal issues, such as manufacturing disruptions and a court battle. One incident is the falling out of their friendship.
According to The Sun, the couple has filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.” They also request joint custody of their daughter who was born in 2018. Elon Musk has not commented about this yet.
