The President, Mohammadu Buhari has arrived at Yola, Adamawa State capital to support the presidential campaign of Bola Tinibu.
On arrival, the president is expected to pay homage to the state’s paramount ruler and Lamido Adamawa, Alhaji Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, before proceeding to the meeting location.
Adequate security measures had been put in place following the strategic deployment of security personnel within and outside the Mahmud Ribadu Square venue of the event.
NAN reported that politicians and well-wishers, particularly APC supporters, have been mobilized in anticipation of the august visitor’s arrival.
Mr Samaila Tadawus, the state APC Chairman, expressed optimism that the president’s arrival would boost the party’s electoral chances, saying Buhari’s presence will undoubtedly add value to our candidates.
Tadawus stated that the party would win all future elections, particularly the state governorship election, in which a female candidate, Sen. Aishatu Binani, is running.
