Actress Zoe Kravitz has landed the role of Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie The Batman.
For those who don’t know, Batwoman is DC’s feline antihero who is neither a friend nor foe to Batman; she is somewhere in between. The character was played by Halle Berry in the 2004 movie of the same name.
Kravitz beat out many other actresses to get the coveted role and what is interesting is that this is not the first time that she has brought life to the character as she voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie (2017).
The star was chosen for a reason and we will get to see it when the movie hits theaters.
Zoe Isabella Kravitz was born on December 1, 1988, and is an American actress, singer, and model. She is the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet.
Kravitz got her breakthrough role in 2011 as the mutant character Angel Salvadore in the 2011 superhero film X-Men: First Class.
