Nigerian musician and member of the popular music group, PSquare, Peter Okoye has slammed a fraud victim who lost N7000 after fraudsters used his name to defraud people.
The artist has taken to his Twitter page to slam fraud victims, saying they are selfish and greedy. Apparently, some people online were asked to pay a “giveaway” price online.
There are some people online who are known for doing “Giveaways” to their followers on social media. Celebrities, brand ambassadors, and social media influencers are known well for giving out money, gifts, etc as Giveaways to fans.
Peter Okoye has shared on his page how some groups have used his name and pictures to defraud innocent people. He disclosed how a fraud victim was asked to send an amount of N7,000 so that they could receive N140,000. He called these fraud victims greedy and selfish. He questioned if the fraudsters used any form of spiritual manipulations on their victims as he struggled to comprehend.
“A good name is better than a bad name! These victims are so selfish and greedy! I thought Giveaway was someone Giving Away money! But how do these fraudsters convince these victims to pay for the Giveaway is something I don’t understand! I will continue disclaiming it!
