In what will come as a shock to many, it has been revealed that witches are on mobile video app TikTok and have tried to ‘hex’ the moon.
With over two billion TikToks bearing the WitchTok hashtag, the community has become increasingly popular on the social media platform.
As for their attempt to hex the moon, we don’t really know how that went but what we do have is Twitter user @heyyadoraa posting a thread documenting what had occurred for anyone not familiar with WitchTok.
Readers can make what they can of the revelation below:
BASICALLY —
in the past few days, a group of FRESH baby witches* decided to band together, and hex the fae. and then the moon. and they did!
(theyre now planning to hex the sun. too)
*inexperienced witches who should only be researching and doing protection work

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
well, for witches, the moon is integral to our work. most notably, it fuels spells and provides power. obviously you shouldnt ???? disrespect the moon??

Judging by the fact that the moon hasn’t been lost or anything, we can only assume that it is still functional and that the hex didn’t work.
