Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of the double-header World Cup qualifier game against Ghana.
The Leicester City player suffered an injury in the foxes game against Rennes in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, March 17th, 2022.
The midfielder will be replaced by Innocent Bnoke who plays for Lorient in the French Ligue 1. The injury will be a big blow to the Super Eagles as they look to secure the ticket to Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The first leg of the game will be played on Friday, March 25th, 2022 in Ghana while the second leg will be played in Nigeria three days later.
