Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes has been added to the cast of the upcoming sequel to COMING TO AMERICA.
The movie, which is being called COMING 2 AMERICA, will see the return of world-renowned comedian, Eddie Murphy. He will reprise the role of Prince Hakeem, heir to the fictional kingdom of Zamunda. This time, he leaves for America in search of a son he never knew he had.
Reports indicate that Wesley Snipes will play the role of General Izzi, ruler of a neighboring African nation.
Snipes is best known for playing the titular character in the BLADE trilogy. He was arrested in 2010 for misdemeanor failure to file US federal income tax returns, serving a three-year prison sentence. He was released in 2013.
