Wema Bank Rounds Up SME Business School With 150 Graduates  Wema Bank Plc at the weekend ended its third SME Business School in Abuja.

In partnership with Abuja Enterprise Agency, The SME Business School began on March 14, this year.

The platform was aimed at equipping owners with skills that will enable them to run their businesses more profitably.

According to a statement by the bank, 150 participants graduated from the programme where facilitators from Swifta, IBFC Alliance, Pedabo Consulting Limited, MTN, Development Bank of Nigeria, Reap and Arcenciel, Africa 118, and Soule Melange featured.

The bank said the idea of the business school came after its research and studies by global business organisations, that there were areas small and medium enterprises owners were grappling with.

Through the Business School, the bank has been supporting SMEs by bridging these gaps and equipping them to respond to challenges in the business environment.

Wema Bank held the maiden edition last year at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos with participants trained in finance, marketing and sales, leadership, customer service, technology, branding, strategy, innovation and business transformation.
