Welcome To Aba, The New Japan Of Africa aka 'Iron Must Obey'

It might interest you to know that the latest slogan of the people of Aba, the commercial center of Abia state is Iron Must Obey. The city is now known for vast development in technology and that’s why it’s been labelled as the Japan of Africa. A quick tour around will show you how industrious the people of the South-western Nigeria are. Their products, Aba-made as we might to call it, have dominated the local market over the years.

In a small makeshift workshop along the back roads of the city, Azubuike, a young self-trained fabricator who no one has ever heard of before, and his 7 hard working accomplices,are just putting finishing touches to some very unique pieces of machinery. These lot are the minimum weekly output for Azubuike, and it’s all hand-made, all beautiful, good quality machines.
