The fireworks used to celebrate her victory led to the fire.
In a viral video, the beauty queen, who was excited after being crowned Miss Africa 2018, was celebrating her victory, hugging her presents when her wig caught fire.
However, the show host, Ebuka, came to her rescue before more damage could be done.
