The Vice Chancellor of university of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has disclosed that about 104,000 candidates have applied to study in the university for the 2017/2018 academic session through in the ongoing 2017 JAMB UTME.
He disclosed this at the 40th anniversary of the Department of History and International Studies of the university.
Although, the cut off mark has not be revealed yet, but he’s made it clear the unoversity can only make provision for 10,000 candidates
According to him, the number of candidates that applied this year seems outrageous
He stated that the demand for admission into the university is due to its peaceful and stable academic calendar
