Nigerian actress, Toyin Abraham, recently achieved a major milestone in her career as she was named the top-grossing female actor of the year 2022 by FilmOne Entertainment.
The list, which was compiled by the production company, highlighted Toyin alongside her fellow actors and actresses who were among the highest-grossing for the year.
In a highly competitive field, Toyin emerged victorious, beating out other notable actresses such as Mercy Johnson, Funke Akindele, Toni Tones and more to secure the number one spot.
Her impressive earnings for the year amounted to N611 million, significantly outpacing the second-highest grossing actress, Mercy Johnson, who grossed N377 million. Toni Tones came in third with N328 million and Funke Akindele with N291 million, among other actresses.

Toyin shared the exciting news with her fans on her official Instagram page, posting a reel showcasing her achievement and that of her colleagues.
She also took the opportunity to express her gratitude towards the other actors who starred in her latest film, Ijakumo, dedicating the caption to them.
