The Lord of the Rings series has cast Maze Runner star, Will Poulter.
The Lord of the Rings is one of the best-selling books of all-time and the movie adaptations directed by Peter Jackson were among Hollywood’s most influential and successful epic films, garnering numerous awards and accolades.
Set in a period long before the events of the first movie (The Fellowship of the Ring), the series from Amazon will take place on the books’ author, J. R. R. Tolkien’s timeline known as The Second Age.
Poulter’s character hasn’t been revealed but reports have confirmed that he will play a lead role.
Australian actress, Markella Kavengeh, will also feature in the television series. She will play a character named Tyra.
William Jack Poulter is an English actor born on 28, January 1993. He came into prominence for his role as Eustace Scrubb in the fantasy adventure film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
