Jonah Hill has passed on a role in The Batman, the upcoming movie from DC.
News of the actor’s involvement in the project was earlier reported but now, an inside report has told Variety that as at the time, negotiations were still going on and a deal had been far from being made.
The reason for Hill’s dropping out from the movie isn’t currently known but speculations had been that he would play the Penguin or the Riddler.
Pre-production on The Batman is scheduled to begin this summer and though an official date hasn’t been set, sources say that shooting could start in the latter part of 2019 or early 2020. The film will be available in theaters on June 25, 2021.
