The overcomer of the ongoing merciless executing of two siblings in Taraba State, Mr. Emmanuel Lortile, has described how his two siblings, Zeeyum and Tersoo, were supposedly killed by individual vigilantes in the Takum Local Government Area of the state.
Emmanuel and his killed siblings who were indigenes of Katsina-Ala in the neighboring Benue State told writers in Jalingo that he had passed on his siblings to Fete, a town in Taraba, on an angling undertaking when they were captured.
As indicated by him, they landed in Fete at around 1 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, and were gathered together by individual adolescents of the region who looked through their packs and just discovered angling materials on them.
He clarified that some Jukun adolescents, who knew them, affirmed that they were not lawbreakers; however, others began beating them.

Emmanuel stated, “I heard them state ‘we will manage these Tiv individuals.’ They cut down Zeeyum and Tersoo from the vehicle and shot them dead. When the ball was in my court, I begged them to enable me to ask before they would murder they and me reluctantly obliged.
“The minute the individual, who held me by the shirt discharged me, I bounced down from the vehicle and ran away. They shot sporadically to get me yet God spared me.”
Emmanuel asserted that the van utilized by the vigilantes had a place with the Caretaker Chairman of Takum LGA, Shiban Tikari and that the director knew the driver.
However, in a quick response, Tikari said as the principal security officer of the neighborhood government, he gave van to vigilantes and seekers to angle out ruffians and furnished looters threatening the board.
Tikari conceded that the driver was a representative of the neighborhood government.
