Armed Robbers Target Neymar's Girlfriend's Home in São Paulo
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a group of armed individuals targeted the residence of Bruna Biancardi, the girlfriend of Neymar and the mother of their newborn daughter, Maive, in Cotia, a municipality located in the state of São Paulo.
Local authorities have reported that Biancardi’s parents were present during the robbery and were restrained by the assailants; fortunately, they did not sustain any physical injuries.
The thieves made off with a substantial haul, including high-end designer handbags, luxury watches, and other valuables, with an estimated total value of approximately $120,000.
A statement released by the Sao Paulo Department of Public Security provides further details: “According to reports, three armed individuals forcibly entered the residence, subduing the 50-year-old and 52-year-old victims. The perpetrators made away with handbags, watches, and jewelry.”
Law enforcement swiftly responded to the incident, resulting in the arrest of a 20-year-old suspect caught in the act. Authorities have also identified the second perpetrator and are actively pursuing efforts to locate and apprehend the third individual involved.
Following the ordeal, Bruna Biancardi took to Instagram to assure her followers and well-wishers of their well-being. In her statement, she conveyed, “While material possessions may have been taken, the most important thing is that everyone is safe and that those responsible are being brought to justice.”
